The North Carolina Marine Project

Meet the Staff:

Webmaster: Kevin Smith Email

Smitty served 6 Years in the Marine Corps as a computer support specialist. After his end of service in 1998, he went home to High Point, and found employment doing PC repair with Volvo Truck Corporation where he is still employed. Smitty has been a League member since 2005 and is currently the Web Sgt. of the PFC Terry C Smith detachment in High Point North Carolina. Smitty created this site in an attempt to bring League members in the state of North Carolina closer together, and to offer web hosting services to those detachments in the state that are unable to do this on their own.

Web Design: Mike Brunette

Msgt Mike (Bruno) Brunette Served in the Marine aviation community for 23 years before leaving our beloved Corps and seeking employment in the civilian sector.  I am a founding member of the PFC Jerry L McKinney detachment out of Wentworth, NC and a dual Member of The PFC Terry C. Smith detachment in High Point.  Kevin and I are employed together at Volvo in Greensboro as Computer Technicians.  We enjoy dabbling in web design among other hobbies.  We had for a while wanted to start a web page for our primary detachments and when Kevin came to me with this idea, I must say I was Impressed.  Although it is quite an undertaking, I have all the faith in this Marine that he can pull it off.  He has already employed the talents of other Marines through-out North Carolina.  This is TRULY what the brotherhood is all about.  “Marines helping Marines”  I would encourage all detachments to join us in this sight and lets make it one to revel all sites. I would encourage anyone with a talent in this area to join us.  Semper Fi Marines!
